A Quick Disclaimer
I have done it. I have started my own blog. I told myself, and probably others, that I would not get sucked into this phenomenon. I kept thinking, why would people post their inner most thoughts on the internet for everyone to see, but this was before I had children. My daughter, whom I will refer to as, The Princess, is getting bigger and older by the second. Let me be blunt for a second, THIS SCARES THE CRAP OUTTA ME. My husband tends to share my thoughts on this as well... although I think it might affect him just a little tiny bit more since every year she gets older is one year closer she is to dating boys in the future. This does not bode well for my husband, but alas, I have gotten off track. We also just welcomed our second child, Jackson into our family and couldn't be more excited!
I am going to warn you about just a few things before I start diving into the realms of my life:
1. Although I went to college, I am terrible at grammar and sometimes spelling. Please do not hold this against me, I just tend to write exactly how I think and talk.
2. Being a parent, I know I am supposed to have this perfect little image of this housewife who cooks, cleans and never curses. Well, let me just tell you, that is not me. I can cook, a little. I do clean, but not every day. As for cursing, I have been proud that I have cut back and try my best not to in front of my children, but hey, I am human. You will probably hear me drop a few bombs here and there.
3. I have been told that I can be funny. I have a good sense of humor and love anything that will make me laugh. Most everything I write will be the truth, unless I decide to exaggerate a few details in good fun.
Now that is out of the way, let the games begin!
